ALP - South Yarra branch
The South Yarra branch of the Australian Labor Party welcomes anyone living in the Higgins Federal Electorate who supports Labor government and wants to help elect ALP Members of Parliament.
The next meeting of the South Yarra branch will be on Thursday 15 December at 7.30pm.
Guest speakers will be Megan Berry from Victorian Rainbow Labor and delegate to the ALP National Conference, and Stuart Whitman who is secretary of Malvern Branch and supporter of the Faulkner/Carr/Bracks Review recommendations. The speakers will share their impressions of National Conference - especially about the structural reforms and equal marriage debates.
The South Yarra branch offers friendly social activities not tied down to any rigid agenda. Members are strongly focused on keeping the ALP relevant and in touch with residents in the heart of a busy thriving inner suburb - embracing diversity, opportunity and community.
